For this weekend’s Trifextra challenge: Forty-three years ago today, Neil Armstrong became the first person to ever walk on the moon. In celebration of Moon Day we want you to write 33 words about someone who took a giant leap. It can mean whatever you’d like, just make sure you write exactly 33 words.

Scrambled
Countless millennia ago someone picked up an egg and thought, “You know what sounds good? Busting this open and eating the mucousy liquid inside.” Crazy? Visionary? Really hungry? Yes! And we’re forever grateful.

When I read the prompt, this was totally not what I was thinking. Nice job…

Ha ha! Too funny. I always think of that–who was the first nut who decided to go ahead and give this a whirl? Hungry people is my guess, too. Great job with the prompt. Thanks for linking up.

Oh my goodness. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve had the conversation about who was the first person to ever say, “Hey look at that thing that came out of that chicken’s butt! Let’s try it.”

Another conundrum. Who indeed would take the leap?

What would the world have been without that inspirational thought of opening an egg? Breakfast would never have been the same. I am sure even Neil Amstrong would have agreed, don’t you think?

I always wondered who the person was who said, “Let’s drink that white stuff coming out of that cow.”

Nicely said. I think you answered the age-old question. The egg came before the chicken! Otherwise, he would have eaten the chicken and there would be no egg.
