Trifextra Week Six weekend challenge. Using the prompt complete the following story in exactly 33 words. The prompt does not count towards the limit of 33.
The phone rang at 4am.

The phone rang at 4am. Crystal calling with the roving party location. Slice loved this dark subversive life. But waiting until 4 was excruciating. Excruciating. He mainlined at midnight and immediately collapsed. His subversive party days were over.
Ooooh. I like that very much.

I feel like that sometimes when I crash at 8 after the kids go to bed. 😛 I liked the use of the word “mainlined”. Well done!
